Grief is such a difficult thing to navigate and I’ve realised it looks different for everyone. We’re often taught to believe that with time our grief will be non-existent or that grief only comes in the form of losing a loved one but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Grief can come from so many places—like losing a job we once loved, or the life we had once known. It’s about dissociating from what used to feel like home, what was once normal, and that can be just as painful as grief caused by death.
